​As manufacturers continue to execute their digital transformation strategies, they realize the need for an architecture that supports Industry 4.0. What worked for Industry 3.0 will not likely enable the transformation. This presentation will address the goals of a digital transformation strategy, the steps needed in order to transform and most importantly, the architecture required to be successful.

David Schultz has 25 years of automation and process control experience across many market verticals, with a focus on continuous and batch processing. Expertise with multiple layers of the automation stack including sensors, SCADA and MES and cloud. He currently works with manufacturers to help them develop and execute strategies for their industrial transformation and asset management efforts. Member of the Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP) and Project Management Institute (PMI). Certified CMRP, CAP, CRL and PMP.
