Fugitive Emissions for Quarter Turn Valves
Join us on October 17th as we learn from Denny Knight – Keckley Companyon how American Petroleum Institute (API) is addressing Fugitive Emissions for quarter-turn products in the market today.
With the importance of environmental safety growing every day in the upstream, midstream, and downstream markets, it is more important than ever to make sure quarter turn valves adhere to the most current Fugitive Emissions standards in the industry. API has recently addressed these concerns with a brand new quarter-turn valve spec (API 641 – Type Testing of Quarter-turn Valves for Fugitive Emissions)
Denny is the Quarter Turn Operations Manager for Keckley Company. Keckley provides fully compliant ASME B16.34, API 608, and now API 641 ball valves to upstream, midstream, and downstream markets. He has a B.S. in Industrial Technology from the University of Louisiana – Lafayette and over 17 years of experience in manufacturing valves and valve automation. Denny has been a member of the API SCOPV (Subcommittee on Piping & Valves) group for 4 years and was also one of 14 task force members that helped create the current API 641 standard.
