May 2022 Technical Meeting

Tuesday, May 17, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

The majority of legacy industrial control systems (ICS) in use today were engineered before cyber security was an issue. These industrial control systems are now prime targets for rogue actors and nation states armed with new cyber weapons that can penetrate through the security that has been bolted on to today’s vulnerable ICS. Many devices for process control, including PLCs, I/O units, communication modules, and workstations are vulnerable to attack, with potential severe consequences for critical infrastructure and human safety.

In this web conference, we explain why protecting ICS systems requires a secure by design approach, with advanced cyber security that is built-in as opposed to the traditional method of ICS cybersecurity, which involves adding various countermeasures around the ICS.

Come join us to discover how industries can implement a Zero Trust architecture today as part of the ICS security revolution.

Craig Allen is the Technical Support Manager at Bedrock Automation. He has extensive experience in electrical engineering and process automation, serving as a process control engineer prior to joining Bedrock. Craig leads the technical support team, and he is a key contributor in application development, product testing and customer education.
