You are invited to attend a presentation by Dr. Peggie Koon past ISA President for 2014 and Automation Federation Chairperson for 2015 on Tuesday, May 24th. Dr. Koon will be presenting on the topic of the Automation Federation and how it serves the International Society of Automation.
This presentation is intended to inform ISA members and guest about the purpose of the Automation Federation and why it is critical to the future of the ISA.  As the 2015 AF Chairperson, Dr. Koon has firsthand knowledge of the relationship between AF and ISA and how these interdependences will influence the ISA and its position as a world leader in automation.
Dr. Koon is presently the CEO and founder of Leading Change, LLC, an organization which assists its clients with development and execution of plans and processes to achieve change to become market leaders.  Prior to this Dr. Koon served as the 2015 Automation Federation Chairperson and 2014 ISA President.  During her tenure as ISA President she led the ISA Executive Board, Society leadership and staff through a strategic paradigm shift using the Society’s new governance structure to empower and engage the Executive Board in setting strategic direction for ISA. Under her direction, the ISA established the plan for “5 Strategic Goals” which drive the direction of our organization toward future support of the automation industry and its professionals.
Dr. Koon has received a BA from Smith College in Mathematics, an MS from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Industrial Systems Engineering, and a PhD from Kennedy Western in Management Systems.
