High-Performance HMI (ISA 101) Done Right
Join us in April as we learn from Lee Swindler of MAVERICK Technologies who will discuss what HP-HMI is about and how to implement it effectively. This topic is being offered on two separate nights at different locations in the Chicago-land area. You can attend on April 16th in Plainfield, IL or April 17th in Flossmoor, IL. See below for additional details on the locations.
Although High-Performance HMI (HP-HMI) concepts have been around for some time, a lot more goes into creating an optimal HMI than you might think. Without an implementation process that facilitates operator engagement, there is a risk the new graphics will not be effective or even suffer outright rejection. In this presentation, we’ll examine how effective graphics development results in an HMI that achieves enthusiastic operator buy-in and makes it possible to proactively identify plant problems and respond to them faster.
Lee Swindler is a Program Manager with MAVERICK Technologies. Lee has 30 years of automation industry experience including 21 years in manufacturing (Amoco, LyondellBasell) and 9 years on the engineering services side. Lee graduated in 1988 with a BSEE degree from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
Topics to be covered:
- Overview of HP-HMI
- Proven advantages of HP-HMI
- How to implement for maximum benefit
