Electric Heat Trace
Join us on September 18, 2018 as we learn from Bill O’Brien of nVent Thermal who will discuss electric heat trace (EHT) for industrial applications.
Topics for discussion include an overall review of the basics of electric heat trace and the different technologies used in industrial applications. We will also be going over the different control and monitoring functions surrounding electric heat trace. Finally, we will have an overview of industry best-practices regarding the maintenance and reliability of EHT systems.
Bill O’Brien is a Technical Sales Representative with nVent. He has been designing and troubleshooting heat trace for 5 years. He has a B.A. from Benedictine University in Lisle, IL. Bill is responsible for the counties of DuPage, Will, Kankakee, Iroquois, Ford, Grundy, Kendall, Kane, DeKalb, LaSalle, Putnam, Bureau, Lee, Ogle, and Cook up to the city limits of Chicago.
