Turbine and Compressor Controls
Join us in May as we learn from Hector Buchelly – Invensys who will discuss the importance of turbine and compressor control applications.
He will shed light on the available options for controls in the industry and will go through the basics of selecting the proper solution.
Hector Buchelly is highly experienced in the specification, application, control, startup, management and troubleshooting of turbomachinery controls (TMC). Hector joined Invensys initially as a Project Engineer, and became a member of the Invensys Turbomachinery Consultants Group in 1998. Appointed as Turbomachinery Engineering Manager in 2006, he was promoted to Director of Turbomachinery over North America in 2009. As of 2013, Hector became the Global Director of Turbomachinery for all TMC offices of Invensys Operations Management. As a Turbomachinery consultant, Hector’s responsibilities included implementing control solutions and startups in Olefins plants, refinery applications, gas pumping stations, gas treatment and separation, power generation plants, paper plants, and ammonia plants. He has experience in both compressor and generator drive units.
