Check out Eric’s Presentation HERE!

Join us on January 19th, 2016 as we learn from Eric Lofland – Ambitech who will discuss metallurgy, wetted parts, and how to choose the right materials for the application.
“Corrosion, Erosion, and Wetted Parts: A Heavy Metal Discussion” presents a user’s perspective on wetted materials and metallurgy. The discussion will include a survey course on metallurgy with a primary focus on metals commonly used for wetted parts in the chemical, petrochemical, food, and pharmaceutical industries. Particular emphasis will be placed on industry challenges in selecting materials, and a brief introduction to NACE codes that govern these choices will be given.
Eric Lofland graduated with a B. S. in Chemical Engineering from Florida State University. Eric has worked as an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer with Ambitech Engineering Corporation for the past 4 years, where he provides instrumentation design services to refineries and chemical plants.
